For our client who not only install, but also repair and maintain, in short, a one-stop-shop for all your HVAC projects from 1 to 6 million euros, we are looking for:
Electrical construction site foreman
The offer is open to candidates from the EU and outside the EU
Working place: 100 km around Geel/ Antwerp, Belgium
Accomodation: can be provided by the firm (6 months free of charge)
Opis stanowiska/ JD:
We are looking for construction site foremen with a strong electrical background to lead their project construction sites. Experience on construction sites is a must, and the capacities to lead and coach team.
Responsibilities:
I Financial:
Detecting additional work and changes (for example, if the clients asks for more than originally drawn up, the planning has to be adjusted and the client has to be contacted)
Getting work orders (assignments for subcontractors) signed off
Checking on the quality of the delivered work
Making sure the invoices we receive are valid
Watching over the efficiency of your own teams (subcontractors, and own staff)
II Technical:
Technical control in accordance with implementation
Following up on the performance and execution of the project (solve possible mistakes made)
Attending site meetings at the request of the project manager
Following up on the quality
Respecting the test procedures
Preparing everything is ready for inspection
Testing all that is necessary before the inspection
Detailed controlling of the execution of the project
Detailed controlling of the functionality
III Organizational:
Monitoring the construction site cleanliness
Creating an equipment list (when will we need which materials?)
Monitoring the equipment flow on the construction site
Preparing a planning for when which materials are needed
Ordering extra materials when necessary, and safely store materials
Monitoring the tools on the construction site
Creating and following up on the construction site schedule.
Monitoring and reporting safety hazards to the project manager and the prevention advisor
IV Coaching:
Watching over the discipline on the construction site (punctuality, work rhythm, break time, cell phone use)
To be a role model for your colleagues
Settlement in and onboard new employees
Taking care of the team
Czego oczekujemy/ Your profile:
Bachelor degree in electromechanics or electricity or electrical technician diploma
Advanced knowledge of electricity. You need to have the superior knowledge on the construction site
You can read electrical plans
Good and clear English or French skills at B2-C1 level, this is the language you will communicate in
At least 5 years of experience working on construction sites in a leading role
Willing to work in a hands-on function on a construction site
Valid driving license category B and experience in driving
Oferujemy/ We offer:
Employment on Belgian conditions
Monthly salary 2,500€ -3,000€ net/month
Guaranteed 40 hours a week
Firm car (a small van and fuel card to travel to work), and a laptop
Firm provides free shared accommodation for the first six months (a separate / singe/ room is always provided)
Possibility to purchase additional health insurance: € 9,00 per month
Hospital insurance including family members provided compensation
Mealvoucher of € 6,00 for each day worked (of which € 1.09 tax)
Holiday allowance – 15.38% of gross annual earnings
Annual bonus – 8.33% of annual gross earnings – provided that you work a minimum of 65 days in the period from July this year to June next
